Mozambique officially the Republic of Mozambique is a country in Southeast Africa bordered by Indian Ocean on its east. Vasco da Gamma was the first European explorer to travel Island of Mozambique in 1498 and later the area was colonized by Portuguese. Mozambique got its independence in the year 1975. The vast majority are of Bantu speaking people. Population of Mozambique is twenty four million and Christianity is the major religion of the country. Official language of Mozambique is Portuguese.
