Tanzania

The United Republic of Tanzania is in East Africa. Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique are in its surroundings. Indian Ocean, Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895 m) covered the eastern side of Tanzania.

Tanzania is a Paradise for tourist with dozens of beaches, national parks, conservation area, variety of wild life, few worlds’ famous lakes and the Africa’s highest mountain Kilimanjaro, and so over all Tanzania is an ideal place for tourists, wild life & nature photographers.

Places of interest:

Mount Kilimanjaro

Kilimanjaro is 5,895 meters above sea level it is on the eastern border of the country. Kibo, Mawenzi, Shira are the three volcanic cones in the Kilimanjaro National Park.

Serengeti National Park

This park is famous for annual migration of huge amount of white bearded wildebeest & Zebras. Serengeti have 3,000 lions, 1000 Leopard, Elephants, Rhinoceros, Buffalos, cheetahs, gazelles, hyenas, baboons, impala, martial eagle and love birds.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Its main attraction is Ngorongoro Crater it is the world biggest unfilled, inactive volcano with the elevation over 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level. Ngorongoro Carter is 20Kms long and covered 300 sp Km and has approximately 25,000 large animals like hippo, eland, waterbuck, oribis, wild dog, leopard, zebra and crocodiles.

Victoria Lake

Surface area of 68,800 square kilometers (26,600 sq mi), Lake Victoria is an African great and largest lake by area and it is world largest tropical and second largest fresh water lake.

Tarangire National Park

The Tarangire name is based on river which crosses the park and is the only source of water, it is one of the largest park in Tanzania. The Tarangire National park has lots of tourist attractions like baobab trees and tree climbing, lots of animal huge amount of birds and the famous termite mounds.

Selous Game Reserve

The world largest faunal reserves has the area of 54,600 km2 (21,100 sq mi).The reserve is for game hunting through privately leased hunting ,but the park along with Rufiji River is for photographers. The famous activity is a boat trip in Rufiji and permitted walk in safaris in Selous.

Ruaha National Park

Is a famous wilderness area of Tanzania. It has a high diversity of plants and trees specially baobab trees and more than 1500 plant species, Ruaha is famous for large amount of elephants there are 10,000 elephants. Ruaha National Park is a paradise for bird lover with more than 450 species, covering the area of 22,000 km it is the largest park of Tanzania.

Mafia Island

Is an unexplored gem, it is the part of Tanzanian Spice Islands. Mafia Island have wonderful beaches with no more people, the main attractions are coral reefs, more than 400 fish species and few species of turtle are found when you experience the diving in Indian Ocean.

Lake Manyara National Park

Is famous for flamingos and around 400 other bird species. Also park have different species of animals like Blue monkeys etc.
